From Paint doodles to UX design.
Raised in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, I’ve always loved stories—whether in books, stage plays, music, manga, or anime. As a kid, I spent a lot of time on my computer, creating quirky art in Paint and making tribute videos for my favorite bands.
Stories and screens
With too many interests and not enough time, I studied International Studies, blending international relations, history, culture, economics, and area studies. During my studies, I worked as a tutor, connecting with students and crafting strategies to help them succeed.
This led to a role at an international entrepreneurship school in Amsterdam, where I designed copywriting and academic English workshops and managed social media for an NGO, co-creating content for its landing page.
Curiosity meets career
Discovery of UX design
While working with web content, I rediscovered my love for creating things on the computer. I found UX design to be the perfect blend of creativity, problem-solving, and human connection. I love ideating, conducting user research, and using new tools to create meaningful, beautiful designs.
I’m always learning and growing, so feel free to check back for updates!
